Boutique inn rooms & apartments

The heart of The Thornton Inn is our historic 1906 house, now home to five thoughtfully appointed guest rooms and two convenient apartments. Each space is individually decorated, with comfortable beds, private baths, Wi-Fi and TVs in every room.

Stay in a cozy king or queen room for a classic boutique-hotel feel, or choose one of our apartments if you’d like extra space to relax, work or prepare simple meals. Guests in the main inn also enjoy access to welcoming common areas that keep the house’s original charm alive.

Small events & meetings 

  The Thornton Inn also offers a cozy event space in the former dining and living areas of our historic bed and breakfast. It’s ideal for small gatherings such as showers, birthday brunches, work sessions, planning retreats or family get-togethers while you’re in town.

With a welcoming atmosphere and comfortable seating, it’s a great add-on for guests already staying with us, and can often be booked for local day-use events as well. Contact us with your date, group size and type of event, and we’ll let you know how we can help.

Off-site bungalows with 1–2 bedrooms

Need more room or a little extra privacy? We offer several off-site bungalows in Arlington, each with 1–3 bedrooms and the comforts you actually use: beds you can sink into, Wi-Fi, and access to basics like a fridge, microwave and coffee maker.

These bungalows are a great fit for families, small groups, or guests who prefer a “home-style” setup instead of a traditional hotel room, while still enjoying the service and support of The Thornton Inn team.

Full 3-bedroom home

One of our most flexible options is a full 3-bedroom, 2-bath home in South Arlington. It’s a bit further from Downtown, but it comes with a whimsical vibe and a whole host of conveniences: more space, more privacy, and an easy commute to everyday shopping, dining and major roads.

This home is ideal for 30+ day guests such as traveling professionals, families between houses, or anyone needing a comfortable base for an extended stay. It can be booked as a full 3-bedroom home, or configured as two separate master-style suites when you only need part of the property. If you’re planning a longer visit to Arlington, this is your best “live like a local” option.

Our off-site bungalows and the South Arlington home are located in quiet residential areas with easy access to grocery stores, everyday shopping and major roads, making them especially convenient for longer stays.
